Since 1865, the Vassilakis family has produced exceptional extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) on their estate in the Mirabello region of Crete.
The Vassilakis Estate Early Harvest EVOO is produced exclusively from the family’s own olive groves. Made from the first cold pressing of selected Koroneiki olives, this premium olive oil is a connoisseur’s delight.
Intensely fruity and aromatic, with a pleasant peppery aftertaste, the award-winning Vassilakis Estate EVOO has very low acidity levels of between 0.1% and 0.3%. The lower the acidity, the higher the quality of the olive oil.
The most recent harvest (2025) was extremely rich in polythenols (antioxidants). Vassilakis Estate contained polythenols of 1413mg / kg. This is significantly above the EU declared health claim threshold of 250mg / kg.
Extra Virgin Oil is an excellent source of heart healthy monounsaturated fats and natural antioxidants.
